Connected Learning and Leadership
The Quantum Learning for Administrators leadership development program is designed with a strong emphasis on the school administrator and effective leadership at the school level and as a strong instructional leader.

It provides a framework for initiating positive change designed to increase teacher capacity and student achievement.

Course objectives are as follows:

Participants...
  • explore a new definition of leadership that includes modeling, positive motivation, and the implementation of specific school and community initiatives; and identify specific distinctions between leadership and administration and learn how each affects the other.
  • explore systems thinking and discover how this model can be used to set empowering context within an organization; investigate two categories of error in an organization and identify two kinds of victories essential for success; and discover how these errors and victories are influenced by acts of leadership.
  • explore the concept of durable or sustainable motivation and learn specific systemic leadership initiatives that are effective for raising the level of motivation in an entire organization.
  • gain historical perspective of the Quantum Learning and Leadership program and the philosophy of Quantum Learning.
  • learn the four Leadership Connections for improving the effectiveness of an educational organization. These include The Context Connection, The Cognitive Connection, The Character Connection, and the Classroom Connection.
Education Administrator
Administrators Learning
  • gain new insights into the leaders role in setting empowering context in the organization; create new clarity about how to represent the purpose and importance of the profession to educational staff; and investigate the relationship between environment and establishing effective organizational context.
  • explore four relationships that exist between individuals at different levels in the educational community and develop strategies for upgrading positive relationships; and explore the science of creating resourceful teaching states.
  • receive the latest information from neuroscience and cognitive science and discover direct applications for upgrading educational effectiveness; and receive resource materials to assist them in communicating this important information to staff, students and parents.
  • learn the importance of the leader's role in establishing and implementing a strong character education program; learn specific strategies including powerful cognitive anchors and overarching principles to be used with the entire educational community; and discover specific strategies for implementation of these initiatives.
  • learn specific models for classroom instruction that can be used by teachers to improve the encoding of long-term memory.
  • receive many valuable printed resources to assist them with implementation of specific leadership strategies and initiatives; and receive and explore assessment tools to help with the implementation of specific Quantum Learning strategies.
