Quantum Learning

Put Me In, Coach!

Quantum Learning’s dynamic Put Me In, Coach! two to three-day course enhances the observation and conversation skills of those in a mentoring role. A synthesis of best science-based coaching practices, this course provides the theory, models and skills educators need to coach for teacher effectiveness and accelerating student achievement. Put Me In, Coach! combines effective strategies and models from a variety of disciplines with job embedded modeling and coaching opportunities for staff development.

Blended Best Practices and Effective Implementation
Traditional models of coaching generally fall into one of two camps - cognitive or directive. A blended method of both cognitive and directive styles usually yields the best results. Put Me In, Coach! does just this, by infusing these two approaches and providing the skills to maximize teacher effectiveness. This robust model and skill set is personalized in job-embedded modeling and coaching, providing an optimal team environment in the context of your instructional environment.

Designed to meet the unique needs of your organization
Each Put Me In, Coach! program begins with a pre-program web conference to introduce your team to the course. During this conference, we collect information to empower our facilitators to integrate your coaching criteria and scenarios. A two day workshop is then scheduled with your team, followed by onsite job-embedded modeling and mentoring sessions. The design and structure of these modeling/mentoring sessions can be designed to meet your needs. The curriculum also includes multiple follow-up Web conferences to continue and expand the effectiveness of the coaching program.
